Only downside was the location. Not the pubs fsult but the weather detour this way and that due to floods etc.
Had a great meal here today. The staff were very kind about letting us stay late due to two of us arriving late - delayed by having to re-route because the toll bridge is closed - please be aware of that.
It's a well thought out menu, with lots of choice for people with different dietary needs. And all of us found both our courses to be absolutely delicious - if a little too generously proportioned.
I was delighted to have more than one vegetarian (in fact, vegan) option to choose from - and so tasty and original. Especially loved the mango chutney that came with my starter.
And my meat-eating other half declared the gravy with his beef main to be the best he has eaten. And that is high praise indeed.
